Peter Landers, Director General of THE WALL STREET JOURNAL, Tokyo branch, visited our univeristy and collected materials on related institutes of Organic Electronics.

 In the morning, Mr. Landers got a welcome greeting from Yoshio Ohba, vice president of Yamagata University when arrived at Yonezawa Campus, Yamagata University, then had a short tour in Research Center for Organic Electronics guided by Prof Tokito, who gave him an explanation about the large area, high definition role to role 3D electronic circuit printing device. Prof Tokito said that we are doing environment-friendly research, there is no other university in Japan where so many printing manchines are equipped with.

 In the afternoon, Mr. Landers moved to Innovation Center for Organic Electronics and Smart Future House. Prof Kido introduced the institutes and got an interview from Mr.Landers. Research development in Japan lacks continuity, we create something which can be worked out in 5~10 years, also we make suggestion not only on materials but also on system, Prof Kido said.

 After the interview, Mr. Landers moved to Kojirakawa Campus and met  Kiyohito Koyama, president of Yamagata University.
