An article related to Innovation Center for Organic Electronics written by Prof Tatsuhiro TAKAHASHI (Director) titled " We are playing core roles in regional industrial development" was released.

 

-Abstract-

Yamagata Prefecture where we are living has a lot of the world's No.1, one of which is Organic Electronics. Yamagata Prefecture is the place of the birth of Organic EL lighting and Organic EL display. Currently over 150 places has introduced Organic EL lighting, and Organic EL display has been used in various purposes such as smart mobile phone. That is resulting from the industrialization of Organic Electronics with the development of innovative technology. Furher technological innovation of "Organic EL" and other 3 fields basing on Organic EL technology, such as "Organic Photovoltaics" being able to generate electricity from solar light, "Printing Electronics" being able to make electric circuit by printer, "Battery Device" innovating battery from fundamental material research to industrialization, is being proceeded and underway.
