Nov. 06, 2014 On October 30th, construction of the Yamagata University Smart Future House began in Office Arcadia, Yonezawa.

The site will be built as a part of an Innovation Project by MEXT (The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology) in order to run experiments on future life styles using advanced organic devices created to simulate an ambient atmosphere.

The smart house will be equipped with various luminescence devices, such as high performance wall-embedded information display systems and organic EL wall system which has low power consumption.
